tko homestretch, piolo and 102 days.

after doing timex21, tko250 is now down to its last 19k.so that means nb21 on sunday will be the last hurrah in the tko charity run.

i can’t say much of the timex run after having read all the nice things almost everyone had to say about how it was conducted and how much it was of a success and expensive to join.

to my mind, this was yet the most expensive road race.after the initial salvo from runners about the high price, eventually, timex still ended as a sellout based on the gate attendance.apparently, the complain first and run later scheme worked in favor of timex in the end.

a point however.i did not find my name in the final list of 21k finishers even though i am pretty sure that i stepped on all 3 checkpoint mats.championchip is not fool-proof .i am living(running)proof.i did it  at 1:48:11.you know it is not an elite caliber time but still, one always finds satisfaction to finish the race at any time.forget it coach rio, i am happy having done the timex21 as it is.

and i made a bet that piolo the runner won’t break 1 hour in his 10k run.man, did i eat my words.for a while when i met piolo and rio on top of kalayan flyover as i was on my way back to the fort,i was very happy to see rio pushing the pace.i was hoping piolo would burn out soon.well, i have some picturtes of him on the way back that showed him tiring but in the end,he beat the hell out of the 10k.and so i lost my bet and i have to deliver the ice cream to the winner.for this, the 10k i mean, piolo has earned my respect.he has a good running form and you should see his rippling leg muscles.pictures of which i shall share with you in the days to come.

but unbowed, i have made another bet for timex next year if ever he runs the 21k which he said he will.i bet that he would do slower than 1:40:00.rio,you know what to do.pace faster early on.i would be glad to share pizza with you after the race.

and before tko comes to a close, may i,in behalf of the beneficiaries,thank the following for their kindness;

bernadette bathan, mesh villanueva, dave de leon, raymond deslate, dr. victoria bach, jerry karundeng, tony mondala and  cherry paraz.

may the good lord bless you and your loved ones.

this as i start a countdown to something that resembles insanity and perhaps will necessitate a visit to the psychiatrist.

102 days to go.

see you at the starting line.

pasig, tko250 at justin.

in truth, i did not have any plans to run the pasig42 when the race schedules came up earlier.i had my other choices being milo and subic.

but as fate would have it, ondoy came and things changed.

had i not ran pasig42, i would have regretted it 42 times and forever bear with sim’s inanites.

when i heard and read about the chaotic race packet distribution and the registered runners pegged at 21,000, i began to have doubts about the success of the race,of its logistics, etc.but as it is, i was ready to do my run for the reasons above.

the race packet distribution aside,pasig42 went well all the way.

there were lots of supplies at the aid stations, the route  was a refreshing change(not exactly the smell though) and the marshals, they were something else.i particularly enjoyed the pasig kapitolyo-shaw area where instead of plastic orange cones, traffic enforcers took over as barriers thus making our running lanes totally free of any vehicles.though the situation near the manila city hall, where we nearly got into a fistfight with an errant and insistent jeepney driver early in the race, was nowhere near pasig’s set up,it was still a good and well-guarded route.i dreaded the guadalupe/pioneer area as this meant passing through edsa but my fears were unfounded as runners were given a traffic-free lane on the road.then there was the c5 stretch. i would say that majority of the route was well-manned and with fully comprehensible road directions.

the newness of the route for me afforded me the chance to run on roads where i would usually be riding instead.i took time to savor the freedom of running the roads.i enjoyed it so much that when i reached the fort area and eventually buendia, i felt downcast knowing i was on familiar running grounds again.it was ironic since i should have been rejoicing having only 12 kilometers to go but i was not really ecstatic.

one unexpected factor i had to deal with was the heat bearing in on me as early as 6:30am.it was getting hotter by the minute that by the time i reached taft avenue,i had a meltdown of sorts.i slowed down almost to a jog and slogged my way to the finish line with a time of 4:23:45 at the same time making sure i stayed well hydrated.

pasig42 will be memorable for me for a number of reasons.

one, i ran for pasig river’s sake.if what i have heard of its past glory were true, i would surely want to see its former allure again.in my own small way, i hope i did my part in its resurrection.

secondly, as part of team hardcore’s ongoing charity run,the tko250, doing pasig42 meant tko has dwindled down to 40k with just two 21s left in the horizon to be completed.

when craig of team logan mentioned that team logan with justin as baton was entered in the 42k team relay,i readily volunteered the hc’s services to do the 1st 4.87k leg from the start to del pan bridge.doing the stroller run was something different.i ran alongside my teammates lester, nico and george.this meant being started off 5 minutes after the start of the 42k solo runners.no problem for us playing catch up.craig told us that it felt different running without him pushing justin for a change.really now craig, it was our honor and pleasure pushing justin if only for a few moments.you could say that justin went hardcore for 5k.way to go justin!

well, for whatever it is worth, pasig42 was the 4th full marathon done in less the a month since the team and its supporters started tko250 last october 11 at the milo42 finals.

one thing i can tell you is that when i did these consecutive 42s,whatever fears and doubts i may have had at the start were all banished and replaced by the sheer and plain joy and love of running itself, pain and discomfort notwithstanding.it comes with the package.i came to love running more and savor every step i make.

but as in anything that is close to a fairy tale comes an ube tale my friend overheard over breakfast after pasig42.

here’s how the exchange between 2 dogs went;

askal 2: “napakadali lang talaga.di na kailangan sumakay pa.ganyan din style ko.”after saying this, askal 2 puts his finger infront of his lips as if he had any shame left about cheating in the race.

shame on you two.

di pa kayo nabilaukan sana sa kinain niyong fried chicken.

style niyo,bulok.

p.s. true to form, flordeliza donos, all the way from baguio, topped the 10k women’s category honestly.

flordeliza donos finally  got her due after 11 days in limbo.

well,as in most fairy tales, after tangling with her own version of wolves and wicked stepmothers ,she came out triumphant in the end and laughing her way out of the bank with 10,000 smackeroos in hand.deservedly,no doubt.

she wishes to let you all guys know that she is thankful for your fighting and supportive words.on a personal note, i also thank you all for rallying behind flordeliza’s cause by posting your comments and suggestions.

aside from finally having her reward, another good thing came out of her ordeal.a good friend, who wishes to remain unnamed, has offered to have her cleft palate be operated on.i hope flordeliza accepts this offer.

the lesson she learned?trust no dated checks.

lastly, flordeliza wants to know if there are takers for a bet that she will end up topping the pim 10k distaff side on sunday november 8.

any takers?

a hearty post-race tapsilog meal would make for a perfect happy ending especially IF…..

the loser pays up on time.

NO checks, cash only for the breakfast accepted.

the case of runner flordeliza donos,22.

Posted in Uncategorized on November 4, 2009 by bugobugo

just when i thought that i have read all that everybody had to say about their sad sim experiences, here comes a horror tale that takes the cake.

rosario “che” alberto, she of baguio’s cool city running club, sought my help to bring to everyone’s attention and most importantly to whoever is stalling on things, the plight of one of her top lady runners.

flordeliza donos,22,  is a working and self-supporting student from the university of baguio. she is no pushover for a runner.she won the recent milo, qcim and sim 10k races.she is  an elite runner as you can see.

she had no problems finishing and getting her prizes for milo and qcim.

it is at sim(again!) that shit took place.

you see, during the sim awarding ceremonies, some smart ass either wrongly gave to someone else or  misplaced her winner’s trophy.she was promised that the trophy would be sent to her in baguio.that  was 11 days ago.no problem with the case of the missing trophy.the reality is that she can’t buy anything with the trophy.she can wait for that, she said.

little did she know that her misfortunes were just starting.

she was then awarded a personal check under ucpb check number 57665 dated october 25,2009 in the amount of ten thousand pesos(10,000.00).this represented her prize for topping the sim 10k women’s leg.that was what she came for and what she needed the most being the self-supporting student that she is.

she went back to baguio with high hopes of encashing her take at baguio’s local ucpb branch. tuesday, october 27,she went but to her horror the check was not honored for lack of funds.she then sought her coach’s and  che’s advice.they went chris sports store(their registration center) in sm baguio to asked for a number they could call.they got it.the number given was 0928 600 9930.they called and sent a text message on october 28 and was assured that the check was funded.here was their exact text message sent to che on october 28 at 3:10 pm; “ALL CHECKS WERE FUNDED YESTERDAY AS REPORTED DIDNT RECEIVE FROM BANK TODAY.KINDLY CHECK TOMORROW MORNING.RE TROPHY,WE WILL JUST HAVE ANOTHER 1 MADE SEND IT TO HER.KINDLY FURNISH US MAILING.” but no luck at the bank when they went back, unfunded still.

november 3, the baguio people called the same number again.this time, the one who answered said this was the wrong number!but when che and company sent a text message, the one on the other end said and assured that the said check was funded.so they went to the bank but still, the check was unfunded!

flordeliza donos is at a lost.all she wants is her fair share for which she worked very hard for.she spent money and time to get to subic and back to baguio.she wants to run the pim 10k come sunday.but she has been given more zigzag-like answers than kennon road has.but this, this sim check is getting stale and stinking for 10 days now.

which makes me wonder, how are the kenyan winners with their own collections?

all flordeliza donos did was run the race and now wants to get her take for an honest day’s work.

flordeliza donos has cleft palate making it difficult for her to express herself verbally to the sim people and that makes it necessary for her to ask her coach, che and myself to take up the cudgels for her.

is this is what is supposed to be an international caliber foot race? heaven forbid.

what has flordeliza donos done to deserve this?

halimaw 21

Posted in Uncategorized on October 27, 2009 by bugobugo

in the spirit of the spirits, the team would like to invite you all dateless and idle people on friday,7:00 pm for a 21-kilometer run.

we shall run/walk/chat/eat/drink/whatever along the exact new balance 21k route.this is NOT a race so there is no need for speed (and registration fees).just bring your happy running self/baon/food/hydration supplies/energy gels/flashlights/candles/whatever.

should you wish to come in your halloween attire which you painstakingly prepared for the now-cancelled isuzu run, please do so and wear them on friday.the non-event should not be a cause to let your costumes rot away and wait for another year.only the pests will be happy by nibbling away at the threads.and i certainly hope that you did not donate them away to the victims of the twin disasters.

the looming postponement of the laguna de bay 200k marathon relay prompted the team to instead do the nb21 on november 29 and this halimaw 21 if only to complete the mileage for tko 250.as i have said, the team stays committed to complete the remaining 103 kilometers of the series.there shall be no amount of cancellations or postponements that will hold the team back from completing the commitment.

please feel free to join us.the activity shall start at the back of ROX bhs, obama time. if you will be filipino late, you may join in on the run at anytime and any part of the route.

so that’s it folks, ANYTHING GOES!

be there or be square.

see you at the starting line.

63k race weekend.it is a hardcore’s life.

Posted in Uncategorized on October 26, 2009 by bugobugo

tko 250 continues and this weekend was the most difficult stage without a question, this sim 42(saturday,4:30 pm and adidas 21(sunday,5:30 am).

as it is, tko 250 is now 63 kilometers less with 103 kilometers more to go.it helps that the next race on deck is 2 sundays away even if it is another 42.that would be the team’s 4th full in less than a month starting from milo last october 11.

in my mind and i had to remind myself every so often  in the most trying times during both races(subic 42 and adidas 21) that as soon as these races were done, the remaining 103k would be a breeze so to speak.

the subic international marathon 42 was a one-way run that started at the floridablanca exit at sctex .adi delos reyes, the event organizer, was gracious enough to provide the team with car passes to allow our vehicles access to the restricted parts of the freeway to provide support for the team and others.

at the starting line, i saw the takbo.ph peeps, team logan,t2’s mesh, sir sammy and lemuel narcise and a host of other familiar running faces whose names escape me at the moment, all prep up to battle sctex.

the race started after a brief program hosted by bill velasco and sir jovie’s oath of sportsmanship.i was hoping no one had a violet mind this time.

the kenyans would dominate.took pictures with them and told them to look out for our team.well, just in case we had the luck, you know and who knows?there is always hope as long as we keep running.

as in all races, some eager beaver dudes sprinted out at gunstart as if there were no more kilometers left.compared to last week’s qcim 42(where i did 4:52), i felt much better this time having done the wiser thing to ease up on running the days before sim 42.

with no pace duties this time,i dictated and started in my own leisurely pace which i based on “feel”. running a 100kph freeway on your own dictated speed and with killer views to boot was just a blast.the road surface itself was easier compared to commonwealth.made things easier really.the seemingly endless and long straight road ahead was a challenge and i had to look on the ground if only to ease the chore of knowing how far the road was.and the intermittent inclines was another challenge altogether.here lay the chance to overtake the walking runners.it really pays to do charge the uphills while training.things get easier during d-day.

the promised water stations were there alright.but unfortunately especially for the unsupported runners, abandoned and waterless stations were the sorry sights even before the 20 kilometer mark. water stations with supplies dotted the latter half of the race somewhat and irregularly, well not really  good enough and  it was a pity for the others.

along the way, i would encounter more walking and cramping runners. i encouraged most of them and told my support team to do what they were there for.

i had such an easy pace that i had time to chat with jeff abenina of camanava runners for about 10 kilometers of the way.at some point, i even took time to chat with william tan and iah isip as well.most of all, the pace afforded me the chance to view sctex and its sweeping environs with gusto.the sunset and the strong winds that blew past my face provided for a big lift and relief  i tell you.

night fell and darkness took over.the oncoming cars were both welcome and unwanted.their lights blinded  me sometimes.the white and broken lines on the road were my guide at the dark areas.and would i hear voices too! good thing these were shouts of encouragement from friends in cars that passed me by.thank you kathy and miguel.and of course, ms. ting joson, who on 2 occassions, provided me with hydration supllies when i couldn’t  locate mine in the dark.

the 1st kilometer marker i encountered was the overhead signage that said dinalupihan 9 and subic 31.the sun was still up then.long way to go but soon after, the lights at the dinalupihan interchange was most welcome.i could see more runners.but the struggle in the dark continued after.and repeatedly, i would encounter and overtake some more runners.

rod villanueva of the organizing group was apologetic for the lack of water as he drove past me.well, water supply was indeed a telling shortcoming of the organizers.not in this kind of a race my friends.water at the very least should be abundant for all and must especially be made available up to the very last runner.hope this sticks to your mind.

the next reminder of the distance was the end of the sctex at the tipo exit.the signage indicated subic 12.at least that is what i remember.it was at this point that emergency roadside lights were available.still,it was far in between.

for most, this segment of  a marathon(30k up) is where the wall supposedly appears.and as if to make things harder,2 difficult uphills and a killer downhill loomed ahead.but what to do? the saving grace was knowing that the race end was nearing its life.

with enough energy left,i  tackled the kilometers leading to the tipo tollgate and in no time headed down and up the longest incline which seemed endless.it was like being in a procession with walking runners as guests.it was a struggle for most.the absence of the enough emergency lights to guide us on the dark roads compounded our misery.and then again, waterless and abandoned stations.lucky if there were some apologetic marshals to somewhat offer excuses.but the empty tables, you would just want to kick them.and cursing ,there were lots.

the pi water provided in some parts was a welcome relief.it had a come-on line from those who offered them, extra oxygen!just what i needed at this point, pi water it is.thank you people.

and after the longest incline came the longest downhill.and this was my waterloo.the quads were shouting and much as i wanted to run faster and make up for time(i was at tipo tollgate after running 3:35),my quads said otherwise.for fear of injury, i deemed it wise to take it easy with joms paras.with stories exchanged and minding the the remaining distance in his garmin, remy field was in sight with all its bright lights and uplifting cheers heard from almost half a kilometer away.

i ran the outside of the tartan track of remy field in a futile effort to add more kilometers but in the end the course measured 41.40 on the garmin.blame it on lost signals and the inclines, that is supposed to be the excuse for the short distance.

signalling 3 fingers for my 3rd consecutive full, i crossed the line in 4:26:32.i was satisfied knowing i had enough left for adidas 21 on sunday whch was barely 8 1/2 hours away in manila no less.friends like junrox(thank you for joining us in the 1st 3 fulls) were on hand to welcome me and so was mari and lester.

but there was no extra time to spare.i took a quick shower and after a token dinner of jolibee palabok,i headed back to manila with lester trying my darndest best to squeeze sleep.but you know how hard it is to do this especially coming from a long run and in a car no less.

mercifully, we were back in manila and in bed at around 12:30 am. taking myself to sleep became a a chore.i finally went to dreamland at 2:00 am.no sooner the alarm went off at 4:15 am and with mouth wide open, lester had no choice but to rise and join me for adidas 21.

half-asleep and mummy-like,i got myself to the starting line of adidas at 5:15 am.the place was a sea of bright yellow.familiar faces.team hc’s doc joe, jay, charlie, isko, jeff ,margaret, enrico, dess, kevin were there, sheila and jonas, ting and many more.

and for the very 1st time in my running life, i did not bother at all to do a warm up nor even stretch.and no target time.the goal and only goal was to finish the race even if  i have to walk or worse, crawl.the commitment to tko and the donors stands at any cost.

i stood at the back of the pack and as soon as the the gun went off, i was glad i was even up on my feet.kalayaan flyover came and so did buendia.i was still in paseo when the kenyan dude was running back.then there was rio running 4th with  his afro hair wildly swinging away.isko and i could count the number of runners in our backs as we made through the turnaround near the train tracks near south superhighway(now osmena highway).but i really did not mind.all i wanted was to finish this race on my feet.

then it was bhs again but not after the the ayala and makati avenue intersections where honking cars and irate motorists provided for a good wake up call.and so was at the intersection of cats fort and mcdonald’s.i even saw 2 motorists off their cars and arguing with the marshals and looking angrily at us.what i did was to put my finger in front of my lips to tell them to shut up and  in mockery of their stupid deed.whatever discomfort they were having was nothing compared to the pain all the runners were going through in the heat of the moment.i had my way, they shut up and went back to the their car.duh.i had enough energy left had they push the issue with me, isko and ric cabusao.hahaha.

as the 10k runners proceeded to the finish line, i went right on to the essensa area all the way to bayani for the turnaround.at hyundai,i met mari and soon br.how i wish i was nearing the finish myself.chat and run and walk and totally walk from the 16k mark, isko, ric and i did.there, with almost no one left behind us, we worked our way to the finish line.one by one,we got chicked like hell.but we had a good time exchanging once again our bataan experiences.that was the best part of adidas 21.

the last 50 meters to the finish line was were we put up a gallant stand.aching legs and all,we sort of ran and made it together in 3:06:29.a consolation is the fact that i would not have a hard time finding my name in the finishers list.i would be way down there in the top 10 from the last  place.

in a span of 17 hours, we did 63 kilometers without a talong act.it was done on our feet.subic 42 and adidas 21 is history.the worst of tko 250 was finally over.you should have seen the joy in our faces!

to my friend arthur, congratulations for nailing your 1st ever full marathon.and to sir jovie whom i acknowledge to be the team’s father so to speak, thank you for continuing to inspire us to do some more and beyond our perceived limits.and for all those who joined us in the 1st 5 races of the tko series, thank you as well.

good thing we have a 2-week break until the philippine international 42 on november 8.

with all the races and distances by then, the team would be well prepared for piolo come timex 21 on november 15.it would be nice to race him, don’t you think so?

r and r time. recover and run team.

see you at the starting line.

qcim42:tko 250 is 84 kilometers old and 166 to go and i got chicked twice!

Posted in Uncategorized on October 19, 2009 by bugobugo

pacer duty and 2 “chickeds” in a span of 5 hours!

at the starting line were team hardcore’s mari, lester, michelle, arman, ronnie, enrico, jamir, odessa, isko, george, nico plus romy and armand ready to do the qcim42 not so much for a pr but to guide any interested runner in pursuit of a finish time.a host of other runners like jomar paras, tko donor rafael castaneda(from anchorage, alaska) and mar of takbo.ph led other pace groups.

we were issued balloons indicating the distance and target time.together with michelle and lester,i went doing my 4:30 minute chores with lester dutifully telling us our current pace time and again.

after the tiresome milo42 last sunday,i had reservations but i had my commitment to tko 250 and more to the qcim organizers and runners of course.

quezon city circle was totally bereft of running vehicles.surreal but nice.it was left to be solely run on by runners even for just a few hours.so was the u.p. academic oval where i did the 1st 3 kilometers.

slowly but surely, lester and i stuck to our 6:24 minute per kilometer pace.our other group mate, michelle, went ahead her happy way with other runners that not even a reminder that she was going fast at the batasan and la mesa area would not let her slow down a bit.

commonwealth, like the circle, was all ours for the taking.the other side was another story altogether for the rest of the race though.it was still dark during the 1st 10 kilometers but traffic was building up.i could almost feel  the heat building up from the commuters.runners were met by school marching bands, traffic marshals and policemen ,various qc departments and barangays who provided live band music, water supplies and encouraging words.my, the crowds clapping and cheering so early were encouraging at the least.

there was no problem doing the directions as this aspect was properly managed by the race marshals.it was a blast running commonwealth where even on a good day, traffic would still linger somewhere the stretch.but qcim sunday was different.and so was the air that was around the litex area.it smelled of you know what.but no choice, this was a race that had to be ran.

i did not bother reckon-running the route and instead relied on the vault files of my memory about the route.anyway, save for the la mesa segment,i was pretty much familiar with the route having done it on wheels in the past.

the roads were concrete for much of the way and that proved to be very painful on my knees.the la mesa area was both my savior and the start of my downfall.before the race,we were warned not to bring any personal effect such as water bottles, water belts, cellphones, caps and sunglasses for security measures.so was support cars and people.the dam premises was swarming with swat personnel at almost every 100 meters interval in fact.

i enjoyed the views and fresh air of la mesa.i dreaded the uphill but was thankful it was not as difficult as heralded.short and up but sweet.here, the road was asphalted and kind to my knees.i even had the chance to run on grass and meet familiar faces during the turnaround.do not ask me about the kenyan dudes.i am pretty sure they were well ahead.but while i had a respite from the concrete roads, it was at la mesa where i started to feel sleepy.so sleepy i wanted to  close my eyes and run if i only could.of all the things that can happen in a run, i felt sleepy for the love of god!and tired.it started to creep in my legs but i had a mission and plodded on to the best of my abilities.

after what seemed an eternity in unfamiliar territory,i was back on the main road and concrete jungle.clueless at first but upon seeing a  familiar landmark ahead that was sm fairview,i had an idea where i was.lester was still with me a little ahead.

support allowed again, i was happy to see lester’s inspiration, margaret who handed us our much-needed drinks and munches.margaret did her bit every 3 kilometers of the way save for the la mesa segment.

i do not know what the road was called but it brought me back to commonwealth where at this point,i let lester ahead.i was feeling ever so sleepy.the kilometer markers were passing me by and it was such a burden to know how many more were left to carry on the task of lifting the legs just to reach the finish line.vener’s christy overtook me here.my first “chicked” encounter for the day.and she was doing her 1st full.i had no doubt that she would make it.vener is such a good mentor.

if going through the 1st half was almost trouble-free,going back was another story.

tales of water-less stations, cars sharing the same side of the road with runners and now-tired marshals  and silent bands floated.i understood their predicament though.i had to share commonwealth with a now unwieldy and testy band of motorists who were honking and cursing left and right.i stepped on the sidewalk for about 300 meters but gladly went back to the middle of commonwealth after.it was my luck that somehow,i was able to get water from stations but i saw for myself that they were running out of supplies and there were other runners behind me.i guess that ’s when shit happened.

as in the case of most mere mortal runners, doing the last 5-7 kilometers was a chore for me.it seemed endless.the sight of the qc monument looming up ahead was my savior.it gave me some push but there was north avenue and trinoma still to be tackled and back to the circle.my legs grew heavier every step i took.i belabored.

the last kilometer was heaven.i found my form back and my sleepiness finally went away.but i was way off my 4:30 pace task.the first thing i did before reaching the finish line was to apologized to the race manager, dave de leon for not being able to keep my end of the deal.i checked in 4:52:34, an hour’s cry form my milo best a sunday ago and 22 minutes late from my task.but at least, pace mates michelle and lester did their bit.and so did the rest of the team.they all made it back with time to spare.

so that is how the 2nd leg of tko 250 went, the 2nd consecutive 42 the team did in 2 week’s time.

this coming weekend is going to be a big challenge for the team.with barely enough time to rest in between races, the team goes to subic to do the sundown sim42 then head back to manila immediately after to do adidas21.i heard there was chaos at the claiming yesterday but do not get me started.

before i forget, congratulations to the 1st timers who did their maiden 42s.ther is of course, christy roldan, jaymie pizarro(the bullrunner),ting joson, doc chester(from laoag.i had the pleasure of meeting him when he introduced himself in the last 5 kilometers.he was still full of legs i tell you) and my dear training partner, lester chuayap-you finally nailed it my man.and to bards for doing her 1st sub-5 full.boy, are you ready for nuyok!3 minutes faster and you would have chicked me too.

by the way,it was team hc’s cassie yang doing another unplanned 42(just like her milo42 debut last week)who chicked me a second time a mere 2 kilometers to the finish.

sleepy, wasted, dogtired and chicked twice.what did i do or not do to deserve this?

all i want now is to get a restful sleep.sunday night was not enough.

but tko must go on.

see you at the starting line.

isa pang hirit para sa TKO 250 sa araw ng mga hari at reyna

Posted in Uncategorized on October 19, 2009 by bugobugo

it is no secret about what typhoon pepeng did to up north.

now that we have done our small share for the typhoon ondoy victims in our own way and while tko 250 is ongoing (so far, team hardcore has done milo42 and qcim42), i would like to inform you all of the 2nd collection for the victims of pepeng in pangasinan and benguet.they need your help as much as the victims of ondoy did.

in cooperation with takbo.ph( thank you jinoe!) and runradio at nu 107.5, tko 250 will share a booth with these nice people and accept your donations, whether in cash or in kind,on october 25 at the fort during the adidas king of the road race.please look us up.

in behalf of team hardcore, thank you for your generous hearts and  continuing help for our fellow filipinos.

see you at the starting line.
